Getting Started

How long does onboarding take?
Initial setup takes about 24 minutes. Full go-live with all features takes 14 days with our assisted onboarding.
Do I need technical skills?
No. Our setup wizard and AI assistant guide you through everything. If you can use email, you can set up StayHive.
Can I try before I commit?
Yes. We offer a 14-day trial on the Standard tier so you can see the ROI before committing.
What do I need to get started?
A computer, your property details (room count, rates), and a Stripe account for payments.
Can I keep using my current booking system during setup?
Yes. StayHive runs alongside your current system. You can switch over gradually.

How much does StayHive cost?
Plans start at $199/mo (Starter, 20 rooms). Standard is $299/mo, Professional $399/mo, Enterprise $499/mo. See our pricing page for details.
Are there setup fees?

What payment methods do you accept?
We use Stripe for billing. You can pay with any major credit card.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Voice AI

How does the AI voice agent work?
Guests call your property number, which forwards to our AI. The AI answers with your property name, checks availability, books rooms, and sends door codes — all automatically.
Will guests know they're talking to AI?
The AI is designed to sound natural and knowledgeable about your property. Most guests won't notice, and those who do are impressed by the instant service.
What happens if the AI can't handle a call?
The AI transfers to your designated staff member. You can set transfer rules by time of day, call type, or guest preference.

Integrations

Does StayHive work with Booking.com and Expedia?
Yes, with our Channel Manager feature (Professional tier). We sync rates and availability in real-time.
Can I use my existing door lock system?
We support August, Yale, TTLock, and manual code delivery. Contact us about your specific hardware.
Does StayHive integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes, our Expense Management feature includes QuickBooks Online integration for automatic expense sync.
Can I use my own phone number?
Yes. You keep your existing number and forward it to StayHive's AI system.

What if StayHive goes down?
We have a 99.5%+ uptime SLA. In the rare event of downtime, our Degraded Operations procedure keeps your property running with manual fallbacks.
