What it does

Email Threading (powered by Email Intelligence) automatically reads incoming emails to your motel, figures out what the guest wants — booking inquiry, support request, complaint, or general question — and routes each email to the right place with a suggested reply ready to go. Urgent messages are flagged immediately, spam is filtered out, and routine inquiries can be answered with one click.

Prerequisites

How to enable

  1. Log in to the staff dashboard as an admin.
  2. Go to Settings > Email.
  3. Confirm your inbound email address is configured and active.
  4. Toggle Email Intelligence to on.
  5. Click Save.

Viewing and replying

Go to Messaging > Email Inbox. Filter by category or priority. Each email shows detected intent, sentiment, and a suggested reply you can send with one click or edit first.

How to verify it's working

  1. Send a test email to your motel's inbound address asking about room availability.
  2. Wait up to 2 minutes, then open Messaging > Email Inbox.
  3. Your email should appear categorized as "Booking" with a suggested reply drafted.
  4. Confirm the priority and sentiment labels look correct.

Common questions

What if an email is categorized incorrectly?

You can manually change the category and priority. The system learns from corrections over time.

Are guest emails stored permanently?

Yes. Full conversation history is stored. Previous emails from returning guests are linked to their profile automatically.

Can I set up fully automatic email replies?

For routine inquiries, the AI auto-response feature can send immediate replies. For bookings, staff review the suggested reply first. Contact your platform administrator for full automation.
